Planimetric map

Planimetric maps are a type of topographic map. The only difference is that planimetric maps do not show elevation like a topographic map would. An example of these kind of maps are simple directional maps to show your way around a campus. It does not show elevation but it does map out roads and buildings so you can easily find your way.
